- It should set the expectation for what is to follow
- It must raise excitement levels for the audience from stepping into the cinema to seeing the real thing
- It needs to set the tone and mood for the rest of the movie
- It could include an obvious metaphor for the film
- It might be able to provide a specific backstory to the plot

What makes a good title sequence according to Kyle Cooper? (RESEARCH)
Kyle Cooper, as you probably know, is a world famous graphic designer and title sequence coordinator, known around the world for his interesting and unorthodox title sequences that never fail to impress a fully engaged audience. In an interview a few years go, he spoke about the art of making a title sequence. I hope to summarise these concepts in the following bullet points:
